** Leading Fire Services are pleased to submit for your consideration our proposal for repairs identified during the recent inspection of the fire protection equipment. ** **Leading Fire attended site and conducted an additional Flow Test on the Sprinkler system, this time from the Booster Assembly to try and identify what may be causing the Sprinkler system to fail the Flow Testing as previously advised.** **Results were obtained from the Original System Flow Test and from the Sprinkler Booster assembly as this would show essentially what the Towns Mains Supply can supply the site and the variance between these 2 results.** **It was found that there is a marginal difference between the System and Towns Mains flow indicating that it could be the system's Check Valve that is causing the restriction in flow performance.** **Our quotation is for the replacement of the Sprinkler system check valve and a re-flow test to be done on completion to confirm whether this has resolved the issue for now.** **Based on the results obtained, our Fire Engineer did advise that although this may achieve a pass once these works have been conducted, it may fail again in the future as the differential results were minimal.** One potential cause for the decrease is as the Water Supply network increases and additional demand is connected to the Towns Mains Supply, the flow rates will naturally decrease to handle the additional workload. Unless specifically noted above, or stated/included within our Scope of Works, the following inclusions, Exclusions, Notes and Conditions will apply: INCLUSIONS: • Labour during Leading Fire Services normal working hours (7.00am to 4.00pm Mon to Fri, excluding Public Holidays). **Leading Fire Services are pleased to submit for your consideration our proposal for repairs identified during the recent inspection of the fire protection equipment.** **In reference to LFS Task Number T-06997, site attendance and a re-flow test of the Fire Hydrant system was carried out in order to attempt to identify the cause of the failure.** **This boosted flow test was performed to establish what pressure is being supplied to the site. There is 450kPa being supplied with approximately a 200kPa drop of pressure over the site to the most hydraulically disadvantaged hydrant. This is a reasonable drop considering main pipe size and distance.** **After discussion with a Fire Engineer and Building Certifier we believe a possible solution would be to reclassify all hydrants to feed hydrants. This would require a site visit to measure out and establish if all hydrants meet the requirements.** **Therefore, our quotation is for the following;** **Site attendance for 2 x technicians for a day to measure the distance from each Feed Hydrant and/or hard stand to the building entry point to confirm whether adequate distance is achieved.** **With these results, we will again liaise with our Fire Engineer and Fire Certifier to establish the best way moving forward with this issue.** ***Please note that the involvement of our Fire Engineer/certifier is for advise only. This quotation does not in any way cover the engagement of services of a fire engineer/certifier to resolve this.*** Unless specifically noted above, or stated/included within our Scope of Works, the following inclusions, Exclusions, Notes and Conditions will apply: INCLUSIONS: • Labour during Leading Fire Services normal working hours (7.00am to 4.00pm Mon to Fri, excluding Public Holidays). **Leading Fire Services are pleased to submit for your consideration our proposal for repairs identified during the recent inspection of the fire protection equipment.** **Leading Fire Services was requested to attend to a Callout on 4th April 2025 for a Fault indicating on the Main Fire Panel for the Canteen Sub- Fire Indicator Panel. We have identified that their is no physical issue with the Canteen Fire Panel at this stage, it is in fact the underground cabling between the Main Fire Indicator Panel and the Canteen Sub Fire Indicator Panel that has once again failed.** **Due to this, we need to look into replacing the existing damaged underground cabling in the Pits that service both the Canteen Sub FIP and Pattern Shop / Site Services Sub FIP. In our quotation, we have allowed for the following;** **Site attendance to access the underground cabling Pits from the Gatehouse, down Main Street to the Canteen, and also from the Canteen to the Site Services Building. Access is required to investigate whether this pathway is still a viable option in the installation / replacement of the damaged Fire Cabling.** **NOTE: For these works, we will require a Progress Rail Staff Member and Forklift / Pit Lifters to enable access to these Pits as they are concrete Steel Pits.** **Once accessed, the pathway will be assessed including taking images for Progress Rail and provide this in a report as a viability study.** ***TERMS AND CONDITIONS*** Unless specifically noted above, or stated/included within our Scope of Works, the following inclusions, Exclusions, Notes and Conditions will apply: **INCLUSIONS:** • Labour during Leading Fire Services normal working hours (7.00am to 4.00pm Mon to Fri, excluding Public Holidays). **EXCLUSIONS:** • Any additional materials or parts not listed in this quote including diesel, batteries, tubes and the like. • Work outside of Leading Fire Services normal working hours (as nominated above). • Scaffolding, Elevated Work Platforms or any High Access Equipment over and above standard 1.8m Step. • Patching, Painting, Core Holes, Fire Penetrations, Fire Sealing, Chasing, Rendering or Cleaning – touch up painting of any doors or frames. • Any re-keying to match original pre-existing key setup of locksets that have been replaced or altered. • Access to Energex locked rooms. • If water isolation for repairs is not successful, costs will apply for pipe freeze. **NOTES & CONDITIONS:** • Leading Fire Services standard trading terms apply.
